As a partner in your student's education, you may be aware of the social, emotional and academic growth opportunities and challenges that are inherent in the first year of college.  For many students, it is a time of personal exploration where their values, opinions and presuppositions are developed and even in flux at times. 

During this time, your role may change with your student. Yet, there is an ongoing need for you to be a supportive link.   Resources like B-W's Parent Connect online newsletter and B-W Connection newsletter offer you opportunities to learn more about B-W and the many ways you can help your student glean the benefits of our liberal arts-based program.   You can visit these sites regularly to read past stories as well as view newly posted ones.
