July 20 - July 24, 2009 (9:00 am - 5:00 pm)

The International Business program will be conducted by a team of business, economics and political science faculty with a wide range of international background and experience. The team will include former corporate executives, a lawyer, and faculty with extensive international experience who teach in B-W’s International Masters of Business Administration program. This diversity of academic and professional experiences will allow students to get a wide overview of the field and to interact with many faculty members.
The program will utilize B-W’s electronic teaching facilities to expose the students to simulations, case studies, and world-class examples of successful international businesses. Classroom experiences will be complemented with visits to several international businesses in the Cleveland area during which the students will have the opportunity to interact with several managers in the field. The main purpose of this program will be to give students an outstanding opportunity to explore the international business field as a potential future career and to expose them to the many business applications of their present studies in mathematics, computers, composition, history, and the social sciences. The International Business program will allow talented high school students, who normally would not be exposed to the academic field of business administration, a chance to explore a field that many of them will end up having as a career.
Dr. Pierre David serves as director.
